300.00 new in box. bought it based on subjective information Thumper gave on a 2x10 SSA icon build over on the SSA forums and read good stuff bout the previous version the 2400.1. I have been let down by the Rubicon 2500.1 i use now

I'm definitely saving up for black Friday next year. Feel like I missed so much this last one. I think $300 is a sweet deal for that amp new. With shipping and all I payed almost $290 for the older one used and still feel that was a decent deal. If you get tired of it let me know

John you ever run that 2400 at .5 ohm nominal?

Never did but from the research I did before buying it the consensus was that it wouldn't have a problem doing so. I did have a friend a few years ago that ran an Exile 600.1 at .5 ohm for several years without an issue.

I run two FI Q 12's at 1ohm now but may move to to a half ohm setup when I sell the car.

FYI I will be doing a clamp in the car since the amp has a clip meter..... we shall see what the numbers are..... I run two D4700 XS batts, should hold for a burp.

Aren't Fi subs really like .7 and 1.4 instead of 1 and 2 ohm? If so I'm not so sure I'd try .35 ohms (or ".5 ohms").

DC resistance is .7 per coil on the dual 1's. nominal impedance is still 1ohm per coil. Impedance is different at diff freqs and accoustic load.

I think .5 ohm nominal would rise above 1 regularly.
