Ok, i've built several ported boxes over the years and decided to try something different.

I know that t-lines are being talked about a lot these days, so I think i'm going to try building

one. I'd also like to have something different here in town (Havasu).

I've been through the tutorial on here and also read through some other quarter wave sites.

What I can't find info on is how you incorporate a chamber into a t-line design? I've read that

chambered t-lines offer better power handling and better overall output than regular t-line.

Also, what is the ideal tuning frequency for an sql design? I've read that the subs Fs for an SQ

setup and 40Hz for spl. Maybe 35Hz?

The sub is a DC 15" LV4d2.

Thanks for putting up with another t-line thread.

I tuned mine a little on the "High" side.

38hz.

Mine is un-chambered and I have to keep the power down but it is killing at 700w R.M.S.

It hits low a little better than my old 4th order bandpass on the low frequency's but is raping it on the higher side.

So I would honestly tune it to about 30-32hz.

I love low songs so I was thinking of making another tuned lower.

Be careful when crafting, that may be why mine doesn't hit the lows as well as I would like it too.

Vid's for your interest.

A LOW song.

Something a little higher.

Thanks Big.

I have a trunk car so the results won't be the same. I do plan to fire the sub/port into the cabin, trunk sealed off.

I'd definitely like to give the sub its rms.

Maybe someone whose dealt with a chambered design can chime in?
