Seymore Posted June 3, 2014 Report Share Posted June 3, 2014 I already have this box i built a while back, is it too big? and is the port too small?12x12x20, and a 2" port tuned to ~35hz it's 1.17 cuft before sub displacement.It's made to fit an 8" woofer. Yeah, that box might be ok for certain subs and not for others. You're missing some vital info in order to tell you good or bad. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. CleanSierra Posted June 4, 2014 Report Share Posted June 4, 2014 A 2" aero is 3.14" of port area, so it's not very much at all. I would think port noise would be pretty serious issue likely.
