Guest SyKo13
I just cleaned the IAC with starter fluid and it's basically doing teh same thing, so what ima do now is clean the TB, and if it's not that, ima have fun looking for the EGR valve, so here I go :-[

Pokey
And what motor...If it's a 5.0, the EGR valve is between the throttle body and intake manifold. It's kinda like a spacer with a valve on the side of it. Not hard to take off and clean either.
Guest SyKo13
It's a 92, 302 Cleaned the TB and it's still doing the same.... :'( Cleaned the vacuum, no difference.....
GHOPPOMAN
the egr plate is sandwiched between the upper intake and the throtlebody. the egr valve is bolted to that. if the engine is hunting up and down when u start but smooths out when it warms up its usually the iac solenoid or the o2 sensor. u can check your tps voltage if u have a dig multimeter. ill check on the exact wire colors(its been awhile!)...i think u attach the neg to ground and spaer the green wire going to tps with the ignition on but the engine not running. u should read .9-1.0 volts. if not loosen the tps and move it slightly until u get that reading.
