youngbass98 Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 i designed up this enclosure for 3 sa8v2s D2s that i plan on building they will be powered of a SQ2200 at 1.34 ohms. so one of my questions was is the port going to be an issue because it is directly behind 2 of the subs and not the other 1, and my second question was did i get the port area right, i am not really sure how much port sundowns subs like so i just went for 15.5 in per cube. 06 monte carlo 2 12 rockford p3s soundstream rubicon 2500 crescendo audio mezzo 6.5 ct sounds 125.4 execution audio and shca wiring 2 xs d3400 on stock alt
Triticum Agricolam Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 Its good that you have the side and the one port panel braced, I would put some bracing between the top and bottom panels as well. If you tied it into the baffle it would be even better. TDZ13 Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 Everything looks good, the inside woofer isn't in the most ideal place, not sure the dimensions you have available but shouldn't be too much of an issue. The port area seems fine but i wouldn't bother with that bracing. You might run into sum noise from the air flow in there and with the double baffle and size of enclosure it's not necessary. 2006 Hyundai Sonata Lx - Alpine CDA-9885 - Rainbow CSX Comps - (2) 12" Sundown Zv4 - Sundown 5K - 4.6ft3 @ 33hz w/ 6" aeros sealed off in trunk - 250a Singer alt, Kinetik 1400, (2) 2400s - 150.4 @ Dash as of now
