I'll be running eight 8inch subs ported on 4k, ten 6.5inch speakers (two 6.5s each door) and a pair in the back deck power by a 6.4 incriminator amp. Never used or heard super tweeters before so I just wanted to see what you guys recommend and how many should I get, what impedance. And should I buy a separate amp to run the tweeters on? Kevin M Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 One pair on 50 watts will get stupid loud. Like louder than you can stand. Budget? Location? Almost all of them run at 8 ohms unless you have more than one wired together. They tend to need eq too; to smooth out the response. You mentioned locations for 6 of the mids. I'm using cdt's in the stock location already but since i have extra cdt speakers laying around i figured i'll just use them all and build custom door panels to house everything. Basically a pair of cdts 6.5s with super tweeter in the driver and passenger doors. Rear doors will have a pair of 6.5's no tweeter. And the back deck just a pair of 6.5s.
