banginAltima
i like them for charging systems that are solid. good alt with a good bat or two, plenty of electrical support and a cap will be positive. your not going to gain any benefit if your using it as a battery- you'll be sadly disappointed-Drew x 2 A cap is meant to cushion the draw from the electrical system of the car. Not hard at all to wire up. A whole lot smaller in size then a battery. If you get a cap i would recomend getting a Batcap 400. A batcap 400 is half cap half battery. Kicker Guy
A cap does NOT make your dimming lights go away.... its not meant to do so either so don't expect a cap to do so. Upgrade your Big 3 before doing anything, most of the time thats all you will need anyway. Kicker Guy
big 3 = 300 amp alt? am i catching on at all since immersing myself into these forums? no... big 3 means upgrade your alt to batt wire, batt to chassis wire and your engine ground where ever it is on your vehicle. Personally I am not a very big fan of 300 amp alts, most have pathetic idle output.
