Memphis Amp Protection Mode

Disconnect everything except power ground and remote and see if it still jumps straight into protection. If it does verify proper voltage with a dmm and if it's good the amp is done. Depending on which model it may be worth sending it off for repair.

Which model amp?

What were you doing when it blew? increasing the gain? playing a low song to loud? Showing it a load lower than allowable?

I had an old school 16ST-1500D, that thing pounded but would go into protection when the bass hit low and motor at idle. I had to raise the rpms so my high output alternator could feed the amp what it needed.

You may have fried your amp. I accidentally fried my Crossfire VR602 yesterday because I ran 2 12's at 1 ohm vs the 4 ohm that the amp is supposed to see. I had them on a JL 1000.1 at 1 ohm. My mistake.
