Best way to set your gains are with a DD1. Cross points are pretty much a guess without a CC1

Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do that
I can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows

came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream.

oh lawd.

For future reference, the search bar has all you need...

But, bass eq, off. Don't ever resort to using the bass boost settings.

And, as stated, the gain cannot be set properly without a DD1 or O-Scope. There's just too many variable that play into setting it correctly without the tools. If you REALLY aren't sure where to set your gain at, I generally keep it at 3 or below. Any more and it may start clipping and damaging my subwoofers.

As for the SSF, if you're looking for 28hz, that would be between 1-2 o'clock. Simple math allows you to figure it out... 15+35/2=25hz, which is the halfway mark. Adjust it accordingly from there.

Current Setup: 2002 Ford Focus SE (stock electrical)

-Kenwood Excelon KDC-X397

-Infinity Kappa 6x9's in each door

-Rockford Fosgate Prime R1200-1D

-2 12" Rockford Fosgate P3D2

Backups:

-12" Power Acoustik Mofo-122X in 36hz T-Line box

-Soundstream Piasso P1.1200D
