So i just bought 2 Stinger voltage meters for my XS batteries to keep tabs on the volts and i am hoping to mount them on the side of the dash in my ford ranger. i dont have the tools or skills yet to do a whole fiberglass mold so i will be using a dremel to cut out 2 square holes to flush mount the 2 meters. the system i am getting will be hitting at least 140db so i need to figure out what adhesive (or whatever else i can use) to keep the meters stuck to the inside of the dash panel without having to use fillers.

anybody got any advice how to keep these things in place?

Keep in mind before you cut anything.

Once you do cut this, if you ever sell the vehicle it could greatly affect the resale. If possible put on a panel that is fairly easily replaced?

And I second the epoxy. Just a "5 minute epoxy" will work, but then again you can mount the stinger ones with screws no?

Or take a look at 3M double sided sticky tape or Velcro and not cut at all.

regularly i would agree with you but this truck has 130k miles on it and im gonna sell it to my bro in a couple years and he'll wear it down to the end of its lifespan so no need to worry bout bringing down the value.

and what do you mean by mount them with screws?
