Mauro376455 Posted September 26, 2014 Author Report Posted September 26, 2014 thanks man! but you think hdc3 be alright in 12cft net? I also see you have a crescendo bc5500, do your subs ask for more power? im going to be using a massive audio d8000
juan777 Posted September 26, 2014 Report Posted September 26, 2014 I would just follow AMI CUSTOMS' advice on box size, can't go wrong with that. As for my 18s they are HDC4s, Andrew puts 5K on each daily, so I feel pretty comfortable giving them 3K, but they could take more. I've seen HDC3s take 3K+ but if it's just a daily, I think you'll be fine with that amp, provided it does rated power. In my experience, Massive Audio amps run super hot so be careful, throw some fans in there maybe.
