Nutty question about running an amp at an 8 ohm load

I like a higher impedance. Cool running amps, speakers sound better. That's why I use PA speakers. They have have a much higher efficiency with the same given wattage and are 8 ohms or more. My horns are 111db 1w/1m. You can run that off deck power and they'll run you out of the car. As amplifier power becomes increasingly cheaper you may see people running massive sub setups at 2 or even 4 ohms. No more of this .175 daily nonsense. Lol of course if you could find a amp that puts out 5k at 4 ohms someone would ask what it would do at .5
