you wanted 16 15s but wont go full retard on doors?

yep thats exactly what i said, i said i wasnt gonna go full retard on doors and if u want to be a dick about it i was gonna do 18 15s and that build was just gonna be for looking good it wouldnt have sounded good and it wasnt even gonna play well at all it was purely for looking good

which is why in the end im saving up for 4 sundown team series 15s on 2 10ks

how was i being a dick?

and throwing 18 15s for pure looks? LOL at that

ill be sure to wait for the day you get your 20k and 4 team series and your business....

LOL

comments like this are what make you a dick and once again i hate the idea of 16 15s too thats why im sticking with sundowns high excursion woofers

Im just blunt and call people out sometimes. I see these kinds of remarks all the time.

I guess i may as well say im saving up for 8 DDz and 8n m4s!!

Stay tuned

If you want some nice clear sound, i'd just look into regular tweets. I wouldn't put them in the doors unless they can fit on the very top where they do a better job at getting sound to your ear, rather than the floor.

My doors are gonna have the original arm area and a ton of mids. Once I get more info I'll get back in here

750??! Yeah, fuck that. Fuck this website, fuck SMD, fuck Steve, fuck all of his butt buddy mods, and their couches.

at the time of the 18 15s build i had a deal for 18 750 watt rms 15 inch subs for less than i payed for my 2 zv4 15s it was gonna be a build that didnt have good numbers and had clear sound but just not enough bass but in the end i decided i wanted loud and good looking rather than good looking and not loud

you are trippen me out bro :P

i never in my life heard someone plan ahead and fully anticipate bad sound while spending weeks and weeks of time, thousands of dollars in materials, building a system with 18 subwoofers in it and spending thousands more to run those 18's. You would think you would hope for a better outcome. Good thing you quit before you started bro lmao! :D

steve go check out my other builds there isnt much up here but i did everything myself i just dont want the 18 15s to be the only thing u know about me your honestly my main hero in the car audio world ive watched all of your youtube videos and im not saying im a steve meade nut hugger but i do wanna say that i love your work and really appreciate what you do

JBL Selenium are good PA style speaker. Plus they're hella inexpensive. @ $40 per speaker, not a bad deal. My cousin have a total of 6 older Selenium running off a Sundown SAX125.4 and it gets super loud and clean. A little mid bass, not too much, but the vocal are super crisp. I also think these are the best bang money can get. Crossfire mids are super loud as well and its inexpensive for what they are, but crossfire mids have a big boner, so mounting on door panels might be an issue without some modification. Other than that, I really like the Selenium PA speakers.
