Jextel Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 well the time has come for me to get some more bass so im going to run 3 AudioQue HDC3's on 3 hk401sx's.. i did some measuring and it seems like im working with 35"W 15"H 28"D (i dont think i can get a bigger box unless i build it in the trunk, cause i still need room for batteries and amps and crap) with those specs the box will be 6.93 cu.ft. will that be all right for 3 12" hdc3's? next, is birch the lightest wood? because weight is becoming an iusse? and how light is it? compared to MDF http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3042878TEAM DEADLY HERTZ "GET LOUD OR DIE TRYIN"only the loudest will survive.

Aaron813 Posted March 31, 2008 Report Posted March 31, 2008 No i dont think that box is going to perform well at all because after port displacement and sub displacement that box is not going to be near big enough Honestly i would only do 1 or 2 since its in a trunk 3 is going to be pushing it i have 2 HDC3 15s in my car and they are in a 9 cubes after port and sub displacement
