funnyent
Hi Everyone - Sorry if this is a dumb question I'm still kind of new at this. After running my current system for a year I am upgrading to new rockford gear but first need to do the big 3 on my car. I know I should keep stock wiring but can't figure out how to do so. Right now on the positive ring there are 2 cables coming into the battery and then my current 4 gauge to the rear of the car. If I want to add my big 3 positive there also how would I go about doing so? I don't really want to modify the stock charging cables - but as they are right now I don't see how I would attach the alt to positive without just using the small lug nut on the side. Thanks so much for your help! Tim

funnyent
Thanks for the replies! Do I just need to cut the 2 original cables out of their soldered connection and put them into a terminal post then? Or is there an adapter where I can keep the terminal ring as it is now and just add another one onto it? Thanks Tim
funnyent
I just don't think the factory wires will be long enough if I have to cut them and splice into a new terminal post.
