2 18" Q's In A Wall?

i was thinking like 16-20 at 28 hz, i could run em nicely on my 200.1 at 3k at 1 ohm or like 3.5-3.6k at .5

it would be a wall in a wagon in the back behind the back row seats

i read they can handle upwards of 1.8k rms music so i should be safe

im not ditching the Ultra im thinking of doing a blow through with the Ultra in my standard cab S10

any thoughts?

how would the output be with low tuning?

#'s dont matter but think with like a 40 hz port the 50's would be possible on tones?

That would be a sick setup 4 sure! Loved my Qs wile I had them.

As for 16-20 cubes… I don’t think I would go that big. I had my single Q in an 8.8 cube box after displacement and tuned @ 32Hz and mayne did it work the suspension in on that Q. Sounded GREAT though! Pulled a 146dB all day on music witch wasn’t bad for a single Q. I would look at building a box some ware around 12-16 cubes if you want a BIG box. The bigger the box the less power it will take to get the subs going. So I don’t see those Qs lasting to long in a 16-20 cube box on 3K watts but that’s up to you.

As for it handling 1.8K RMS watts. I slammed my single Q on 2K RMS for about 3 months before I got a second woofer. They will take it but make sure the amp is set correctly.

Also I loved how my Qs sounded between 30-32Hz. Hit the lows like crazy wile still picking up the highs.
