Skax Posted November 10, 2014 Report Share Posted November 10, 2014 so i recently ran into a problem with the mustang here lately. it does this at random times throughout the day and sometimes the check engine light flashes and ive told my dad and told him to call who i normally take it to but he hasn't done it so id like to find out what it is on my own. Seems like the car is running a little rough. Of what I understand it's a misfire if the light flashes. Charlander Posted December 10, 2014 Report Share Posted December 10, 2014 If the engine light is on I would take it somewhere to get the code(s) read. The engine light flashing is generally a misfire. You could check the plugs, wires, replace them if needed. If that's not the problem try a new coil pack.
