visiontech4x4 Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 I currently have an orion 10 ported on a CT2200.1. Just picked up a DC M3 8" duel 2 ohm. Looking to play around with a 4th order to place behind the seat in my jeep wrangler. Not a whole lot of room to play with. Will the DC 8 handle the CT 2200.1 if the gain is turned down and I don't push it too hard? Also anyone have a single 8" 4th order design that they would be willing to share as a starting point. My goal is to be a good music box that will play lower than a ported enclosure.

I suggest you research just how to do that, and then ask questions if you aren't sure about anything. Bandpass boxes for a single 8" are pretty tricky to do since you have a lot of stuff you have to try to cram into a pretty small area. Not saying it can't be done, its just going to be tricky.
