Guest Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 So I have a KnuKonceptz ANL fuse holder that uses set screw connections. I want to use it for my fuse between my battery and amps. I am worried the set screw connections not being good. I have zero to 4 gauge reducers but they do not seem not seem to help. I thought about getting zero gauge inputs but not sure. My other option is buying a ring terminal fuse holder instead? What is the best way to get a good connection with a zero gauge fuse holder???
Cameronmyers74 Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 I use the ring terminals ones. I have a kicker 0 gauge fuse block I used for awhile that used the set screws and I never had an problems with the wire coming loose or anything. But if it makes you feel better (safer) use the ) gauge inputs then it definitely be hard to work loose. But if you go that route lmk I got a extra pair or tool maker inputs you can have.

Whoa awesome! You think those toolmaker inputs would work?
Cameronmyers74 Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 if you have ) gauge wire then yes, and if the fuse block you have accepts ) gauge wire then yes it should

I just do not see why the set screw ones are more expensive than the ring terminal ones..
Cameronmyers74 Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 The ring terminal ones are usually plastic with the two metal studs sticking up, were as the set screws they gotta machine the hole and and stuff, would be my guess. I think the inputs would work there but honestly you should be fine just using the set screws, js. But if you want the input adapters lmk
