Just a thought being that we keep up on the charge of these batteries that this might help since the cost really isn't bad either. TRON Posted January 6, 2015 Report Share Posted January 6, 2015 I used to have a battery blanket it my old car, mainly because it had trouble starting in the winter and during night shifts it would sit outside in -35c. They don't get hot enough to damage the battery, other wise they wouldn't make them. Depending on how cold the temperature, you need to get a more powerful one. I had a 100w blanket. But then again, -35c is actually cold but something like -5c isn't that bad really.
