psirna Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 okay so far i just have the box which is 36inx20inx16.5in (outer dimensions) port is 5inx15in ,supposedly box was built for a hds315d2 to there specs (curious if anyone could confirm that) anyways was thinking that box, soundqubed hds315d2,and hifonics x2200.1d any suggestions for the new guy lol Thanks fellow BASSHEADS

Aj11 Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 um.. all day... for you? um... well, first you need correct gain and eq settings. if you clip that sub on that much power you will kill it, and kill it quick. now if everything is set right, i wouldn't hesitate to do it. its all on you. and.the reason for my ouch... i was picking on soundqubed amps, for being the same as hifonics. BigManAC Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 I think part of the reason people dont like hearing that is due to the rep that SQ has built up and then hearing that they are equivalent to Hifonics....yeah not good. Not saying Hifonics is bad, Ive never had one, just from what other people on here have said about them. Anyway...OP yes the 2200.1 (SQ) can run at 1 ohm all day.
