CarbonCone Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 Ok seems like a dumb idea, but I really want to keep my orignal vw radio. As it look much better than a single din and i can keep my wheel controls and it has gps and inbuilt storage for all my music. but the quailty of it isn't that great. Wondering if I can use the rca from the vw unit. Plug them into a rca to 3.5mm cable then use the 3.5mm cable to plug into the other headunits aux input (pioneer p80) the vw unit would only be used for radio, cd's and gps voice commands, mostly use an ipod so that can I connect directly to the pioneer headunit. Or is there any other ways to make this happen? would the quality be better, as is it going though the pioneer that has better rca voltage or still the same as the vw is the main source? Any help would be great.
