Look into dc Audio, soundqubed, AA audio, etc.. all make good subs in Ur price range... RainStryke Posted January 21, 2015 Report Share Posted January 21, 2015 If you properly tune your system, you should never need a bass knob. It's always going to give you the maximum output you can get before you start clipping. That is why I wouldn't use one. If you don't know what clipping is, I highly suggest you research. I've clipped the hell out of some L7's and ruined them... The enclosure is just as important as the subwoofer. Make sure you have a good design. Worked great when I had 4 10s a couple years ago but my new setup is not a fan of it. I was gonna take it out but it looks nice in the spot it's in so I'll leave it in till I get a daily.
