Evagoras Posted January 24, 2015 Report Posted January 24, 2015 Hi guys, im about to make a new build in my car. My car has a separate trunk from the cabin but i can open a hole at the rear deck were the rear speakers are. i have 2 jbl 12's had them in ported 1.75cu.ft @32 hz, sound very nice very happy with them. My question now is which box type shall i go to get the most out of the subs, thinking of making 2 custom fiberglass boxes on each side of trunk, or make one bandpass box with the port coming out through the rear deck. any recommendations will help me a lot!!
Raptorman Posted January 24, 2015 Report Posted January 24, 2015 Bandpass through the rear deck would probably be best. As long as you can seal the trunk off from the cabin completely. 1996 GMC Sonoma Four Fi BTL Neo 18's In 2:1 6th Order Bandpass 2 Ampere 5k's @ .5 TEAM FI TEAM #LITHIUMCANTDEMO On 10/20/2013 at 0:37 AM, KillaCam said: Fucking with a Prius driver is like making fun of a disabled kid. Evagoras Posted January 24, 2015 Author Report Posted January 24, 2015 yes there is almost no communication between cabin and trunk, also there is fuel tank and metal sheet behind the rear seats, thank you
