Mosley_23 Posted January 28, 2015 Report Posted January 28, 2015 Im installing my system and have everything i need besides electrical stuff. Im stuck on what to do because i cant find a battery thats actually made for my car. They dont even have a yellow top available. My car came stock with a 150 amp alternator and this is what i will be installing.... 2 JAD1200.1 1 JAD800.4 So i need to know what size alternator i will need and also what batteries will fit. This system will be daily for daily usage no comps or anything like that. BTW my car is a 2014 Ford Focus
TRON Posted January 28, 2015 Report Posted January 28, 2015 You can find a battery to fit under the hood, unless its some stupid special military size, which its not because its a Ford. According to Google you have a BCI group 96R. Find the dimension of your battery then go to Xs Power's website and find one that has similar dimensions. Here: Xs is showing a D4800 http://4xspower.com/eu/bci_group/96r/ Call Mechman Alternators to get an alternator for your car too. Mosley_23 Posted January 28, 2015 Author Report Posted January 28, 2015 Thanks for your help ! But i think that 4800 will be too big
TRON Posted January 28, 2015 Report Posted January 28, 2015 There are smaller sizes, you just need to find the closest to your current size Avalanche Alpine Type S comps Alpine Type S 10'' Alpine MPR-F300 Alpine MRX-M50 Mechamn 270 XS Power d3400s
