CleanSierra Posted February 27, 2015 Report Share Posted February 27, 2015 If you have the 12 gauge, use it. You wouldn't need more than 14-16 gauge and 12 is overkill. They probably told you not to because it was indeed overkill but many here run their mids and highs with 12 gauge. I choose to use 14 gauge personally but 12 is fine for you.
