ok the four 6 in i have in the door as the ones that came in there were shot... so i just replace them with the eminence as for the amp i am going to replace the SSL for sure and then i replace the 4ch boss,,,,but i just need to get an ideas on the bass,

i been looking at two so far . Rockford Fosgate Prime 1,200-Watt Class-D 1- or the Hifonics BRX2400.1D Brutus

the price are not so bad hifonics $265 and RF $245 so any other i can choose between or anything better ,?

P\S i am all the way in JAMAICA so i am here to learn from you guys as well but i buy most of my stuff in the states so help me out

That rockford amp is a good deal and they are nice but it wont drive those subs to full potential. The hifonics will get u almost to wat they take on rms for around the same price. Be aware tho that the hifonics will only do rated on music with a good electrical to support it.

There is a thread on here that has a video of this amp being bench tested and another of steve bench testing a hifonics brutus amp.

Soundqubed isn't better quality then hifonics..

Is this a joke ? There based on the same general design but the soundqubed is signfantly superior.

They use more cooper on the boards and have a superior heatsink. The Hifonics are known to have many burnt traces when the FET fails where the soundqubed rarely has this issue.

The soundqubed RCA connections are threaed and individually secure with a nut directly to the case. The HF has the cheap one screw holding RCA's

Soundqubed runs .5 ohms no problem where the HIfonics goes into product mode majority of the time.

I could literally spend all day explaining why Soundqubed is the better amp (I don't know what made you think Soundqubed wasn't better).

Whats funny is that i'm comparing HIfonics best line to a soundqubed line that is no longer in production (revision 2 comes out next month with even better internals) and yet the soundqubed is still superior

morning guys , may i say my system is going to be set up just to play music not to compete in any sound wave test or audio compitition i just want my van to sound really good hit hard when i play music so i dont think i will be needing to wire down to .8 .6 .5 etc ,, just want to hear nice clean hard hitting music and it will be a home built project at least with the putting in of the equipment ,,

space was my concern as i wanted to car to look normal with all the amps an wire tucked away properly so i was trying to make every thing fit properly how about the idea of have two amps to play those subs. could that work,? eg .. i see some good reports on the audiopipe 1500w so what if i were to get two of them to play bass .... whats the pro n con on that

I wouldnt recomend audiopipe. They tend to burn up rather quickly from wat ive seen and heard. If room is a concern u could look at the american bass phantom amps. They have a 2000 watt monoblock on amazon that is in your budget.

hey mattew thanks for ur imput i was looking at that american bass but i dont know about it or how good it would be i tried looking up on you tube for some reviews but didnt fine much , so would u say thats better than the hifonics
