My names Caleb, I'm a 16 (and 11/12th months) old, I live in Auckland, New Zealand, and I love cars, parties, and I'm sure you know all the rest Anyways, I would like to know what frequency (Hz) I should tune my subwoofer box to, for this kind of music: J. Now for the second question, how should I build the box so that it will be tuned to that ^^ Hz, I have two 12" subs, both will be operated at 175w rms untill I get a more powerful amp. I will have one box, but it will be split in the middle, so that each sub has its own airspace. I want a very tall thin port, one for each side. The box (I'm thinking) will be around 40cm high x 40cm deep x 100cm long... I have to go now, but I'll upload pics of what I want the box to look like when I get home... Thanks for the help guys!! blkvenm2001 Posted March 27, 2015 Report Share Posted March 27, 2015 I have my box for two sa12s on a sundown 2500 tuned to 31 hz via a full length 6 inch aero and the box was designed by Ryan from RAM designs and it slams and KILLS the lows so if that's what you're wanting I'd tune in the low 30s for sure.
