Noobtastic14
You have a bad set of RCAs if when you wiggle them it gets louder. The Scosche kit from Wal-Mart is complete shit. Hit up Best Buy and grab a Rockford set, 16 ft. for $10. Also don't ever buy any audio equipment from Wal-Mart, unless its a pioneer H/U or monster cable wiring. for any serious system i agree 100% but ive used the 30$ 8ga amp kit many times for kids that cant afford any better and although they are not good by any means ive never seen them melt or fail on me. bang for buck is good for entry level setups within only a few hundred watts -Drew Quote I am a United States Military Arts and Crafts Professional. KevinH
i had the same problem, mine would be quiet and them whenever i hit a bump in the road it would get loud, i solved my problem by putting some dilectric grease on the ends of the rca's going into the amp, after doing that i havent had a problem since, although a new set of rca's is probably the best way to fix it Edited April 7, 2008 by KevinH
