brentpadgett
New here so please bare with me! Trying to do the Big 3 upgrade and so far I have replaced the factory ground wire with Sky High 4ga wire with the 4ga lugs, solder method! I also grounded the battery to the chassis since the battery was only had one 8ga ground to the block. With all that said I am still running with stock with from alt to fuse box under hood then looks like fuse box to battery, hope you are still with me on this! My question is do I disconnect wire from alt and fuse box and run wire from alt to battery with a 300amp fuse? Any help would be great and I will add pic to show what I am currently running. whack0922
All I did was I just went from alternator positive straight to the battery positive with fuse. Alternator bolt - ground battery negative - ground alternator positive - fuse - battery positive That's what mine looks like ^
brentpadgett
Would you have a pic of the fuse box and wiring?
Rich Schenk
If your car dgrind have a frame and is a uni body ground to shock tower it's a much better ground then the one in the pics. Also ground everything to the same point vs multiple points. Keep oem wires where they our do not get rid of them. Also after u grind down to bare metal put dielectric grease On all connections. Also ground your alt to battery. On 3/28/2014 at 4:22 PM, KyLar96 said: Its all about the music anyway.....
