2 lvl 4 18s on 5k?

getting ready for a new build in my new 01 gmc sierra 3500 dually im going with a ported blowthrough built by my local reputable box builder i last was running 2 lvl4 18 m2s on a 3.5k .i have a chance to grab a 5k for a deal from my box guy hes sayin the lvl4s will be fine on 5k all day im not such a firm beliver in that. I think a 3.5k is enough for lvl4s and xls pair well with a 5k or am i wrong and should i pound those lvl4 s on that 5k any input helps thanks

Depending on how youre gonna wire it, and how he builds the box, and how everything is set.

If it were me, I'd wire to 1ohm, Build it a little smaller box for the extra power, set gains properly, watch voltage, and let er go. Im sure you'll have a little rise.

If anything, you can throw more subs on the amp, and change things around. Overkill is better then under.

Or you could just bite the bullet and get xls instead of 4s
