BannisterEc Posted June 8, 2015 Report Posted June 8, 2015 Hi guys I'm acquiring a set of Sundown Audio X15 D4's in the next few days which Im planning to run off my Taramps hd8000 20hm amp. Im wondering what is the best way to run in these subs and methods you guys use???

Would it be best to connect them in the car and play them on 30hz tones or music and how do I know how much time they need to run in before cranking them?
Cj Kumz Posted June 8, 2015 Report Posted June 8, 2015 Sundown x15 is a low end monster but that doesn't mean it won't play high notes too. They will do fine on music so don't worry yoself. Best way to wire them up would be at 4 ohms since your have a lot of power with you. Just make sure sure have good electrical otherwise voltage drop could lead to clipping and mess up your subs..
