guttagfx Posted July 23, 2015 Author Report Posted July 23, 2015 Thanks i really do appreciate it. To this day i dont really understand how making a box to a certain specs(tune) can affect the way a sub performs, is it because of air space?
dsw422 Posted July 23, 2015 Report Posted July 23, 2015 Thanks i really do appreciate it. To this day i dont really understand how making a box to a certain specs(tune) can affect the way a sub performs, is it because of air space? it can be a number of different factors. I use WinISD (free program) to design boxes. the program shows me the response curve of the woofer, port velocity, and many more things thatll help dial in how you want the woofer to perform.. 2014 Ford Focus SE Sedan Factory Sony 10 Speaker Sound System 1994 Ford Bronco Dual head unit (i kno) Sony door speakers Kenwood Rear Speakers Custom Center console in the works. will house an NVX NSW10" https://m.facebook.com/WinnsCustomCarAudio/

dsw422 Posted July 23, 2015 Report Posted July 23, 2015 Ok, what do you think about that sub and amp they recommended me on here by SoundQubed Foe the width you have (11 inches). You can't fit a 12. But can fit a 10.. I'm almost done designing ur box based around the hds310 2014 Ford Focus SE Sedan Factory Sony 10 Speaker Sound System 1994 Ford Bronco Dual head unit (i kno) Sony door speakers Kenwood Rear Speakers Custom Center console in the works. will house an NVX NSW10" https://m.facebook.com/WinnsCustomCarAudio/
dsw422 Posted July 23, 2015 Report Posted July 23, 2015 ok.. so took some tinkering.. but I was able to keep the size you listed.. again this design is for a 10 inch woofer (Soundqubed HDS310). I made it with woofer and port facing back (most efficient way) Use this image to cut ur side panels.. This image shows how ur panels will be put together with all the different angles 2014 Ford Focus SE Sedan Factory Sony 10 Speaker Sound System 1994 Ford Bronco Dual head unit (i kno) Sony door speakers Kenwood Rear Speakers Custom Center console in the works. will house an NVX NSW10" https://m.facebook.com/WinnsCustomCarAudio/
