spl explorer Posted April 13, 2008 Report Share Posted April 13, 2008 I built a sealed box for 2 Q 18s in trunk of an Impalla. Being that the min Fi recommends for Q18s is 6 cubes ported, a ported box with his air space would sound like crap! The guy I built the box for said “Ported is way louder”. Not always. Depends on what you have to work with. So I built the sealed box anyways and he loves it! I would email RD and ask for the air space recommendations! If it over 4 cubes each minimum, I would go sealed! But if you enjoy building boxes like I do then build them both and see what happens.
