MOHpro Posted September 6, 2015 Report Share Posted September 6, 2015 At some point next year I will be doing a major upgrade to my car audio system. I am doing some planning now. I want to get XS batteries for my set up. I will also be getting a mechman alternator. My total system RMS watts will be 6K. What model should I get for the main under the hood battery? What models and how many should I get to put in the trunk for my amps? I will have 5 amps , 2 for my subs, which will be 2500 RMS each. 3 for my mids and highs which will be 400 RMS each. I am thinking 1 battery for each of my sub amps and 1 battery for my 3 mids and highs amps. Can someone help guide me in the right direction with what models I should get and how many?
