Focal PS 165/F.A.S.T. Rings Install

Just finished my right door of my 2001 Toyota 4Runner. Here are some pics.

Had to grind the speaker adapter to make the magnet and frame fit properly.

Had to loosen the bolt that holds the window track and install four washers to move the window track out 1/4 inch so the magnet would fit.http://s76.photobucket.com/user/jessesnyder6/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20150912_130409_zpsidxln4yz.jpg.html]

EDIT: By the way I had to trim back some of the shrink tube so the speaker wire would clear the window when it was rolled down. The shrink tube made it so it wouldn't curve out of the way and I would have had to tell passengers not to roll the window all the way down. Lame. So I trimmed about 3/4 inch off each wire and it fit to within about a millimeter.

Glued some old foam I found in the garage to the outer panel to absorb rear wave resonance.

Before I decided to order the F.A.S.T. Rings this was my makeshift attention at at sealing the speaker to the door panel. Lame.

I had to use the rear ring that comes with the kit as a gasket for the front ring because of the way the speaker adapter doesn't sit flush with the door. Plus the PS 165 woofer is a little bigger than 6 1/2 inches I think.

The "rear" gasket worked perfectly to take up the space around the speaker mount.
