dsw422 Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 hey guys.. im building a box for 2 cerwin vega vpro 15d2's... sub recommends 3 cuft per 15 (so 6 cuft for the 2). i decided to go with around 8 cuft total for more output.. box dimension are 62w, 18t, 18d (i think those dims are right, not at my computer now...) port width is 8" tuned to 33hz (i think so.. lol.. i check my computer when i get home) box will be in a 95 chevy 1500 ext cab. subs up, port up centered. Question is... As you increase box size, your cone excursion goes up to. I don't know if you would have any problems with the power he will be running or not, but its something to be aware of. Those subs could fine totally fine on rated power in that box, or they might not. Once you go over the recommended size enclosure you just need to have a little caution, that's all.
