I think that the google name was getting too large for all the acquisitions they have made over the last 10 years and needed to push somethings off to probably avoid a monopoly lawsuit.... they will now push off the ISP plans on the parent company so google can stay focused on what google does.... google was also having a hard time securing pole locations to run their FIOS data lines just because AT&T owns 99% of the poles so maybe this new name already has some steak in the game, even though they just passed a law that lets people use pole space for educational data transfer and AT&T was pissed off Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
