rhcpepper7
Hello, i just blew my Sundown 10" E10.....pretty sure i clipped it to death : / Anyways it was in a ported box i built to the exact specs on the sundown audio website. It pounded pretty good, lasted me a little over a year. Anyways im considering buying 2 Sundown E-12s now and putting them in a sealed box. (For space reasons, want to keep the box as small as i can) e12: http://www.sundownaudio.com/index.php/products/subwoofers/item/e-v2-series.html Anyways im bad when it comes to design. The website says rec. box volume of 1 cube per sub. Sealed. So im thinking with 2 12s in a sealed box 2 cubes would be ideal? The displacement of the E12 is .12 cubes, so would that make for a total box volume of 2.24? Also for dual subs do you need two separate chambers for each sub? If someone could help me out with the box specs for 2 E12s sealed that would be great. (WxHxD,ect using 3/4" MDF) I plan to power them with my current amp: Kenwood 5001sp (500w at 2 ohm) http://www.kenwood.com/usa/car/amplifiers/kac-5001ps/spec.html When i get the money will upgrade to: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_43362_JBL-GTO-751EZ.html (750w rms at 2 ohm) Would the kenwood amp be able to power the 2 e12s decent for the time being, until i upgrade to the jbl? How loud would this setup be? Anyways thanks in advance for your time if anyone can help, Rob
