Duece22 Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 Hey, im trying to build a ported box for my 18" BTL to hit into the trunk of my 05 Impala. I have the box basicly built, im just a little confused on how to build a port. Do i just put a hole in the side of the box opposite of the subwoofer? Im assuming you need to do something inside the box to? If so, can anyone please try to explain that to me. A pic of the inside of a box would be nice. Im going to keep looking for one. Andrew Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 You have a BTL but you don't know the idea behind a ported box? You should probably start off w/ something a little lesser... Q, BL etc. BTL's are a totally different breed of woofers New project in the works
