I expected a lack of higher frequencies, but I was wrong. You can check my review in the sundown section. And OP, having a real 3k amp doesn't mean that you give them 3k, because of impedance rise. With a 3k amp you can't do anything bad to them if you keep the power clean. And about hearing the 1db increase - maybe some people don't but I surely have heard it in my experience. It's not a drastic change in pressure, but you can still hear it. At least I do. Given I still need everything for the car so the sub is probably the last thing to buy.
