DD-1 Tuning With Spotify
Lakeshow94 replied to Lakeshow94's topic in SMD Distortion Detector (DD-1) Topics
Let me rephrase. I want to check if the dd1 will distort while using spotify through bluetooth on my 80prs. So voltage shouldn't be an issue, more of finding where it distorts. I'm going to try jhunts method with the rockford track on spotify. So far I've been running my system on my -5db dd1 disc tune and the subs have been fine. I appreicate the input though. -
Is there a certain way set gains if you use something like spotify? I typically always just use a usb for music, but spoitfy seems like a cool option. Is "full volume" on all phones a similar signal strength? Does anyone have input on this?

Thats why I always keep an emergency $20 in the car, gotta have cash for the lady that sells homemade burritos and gorditas every morning Totally do the same thing. There's a taco truck int he parking lot where I work but he only takes cash. Good food though and its about a ten seconds walk to lunch.

Oh trust me i know lol. Up here in the good old northwest we decided to raise the minimum in seattle to 15 My mom has been working in insurance for 20 years and is only making 18 an hour. It's really irritating to think that someone who is flipping burgers isn't too far off the wage of someone who has been working hard for that long. On the bright side we'll probably see kiosks at fast food now. So now the overpaid burger flipper cant mess up my order anymore lol

Sucks that they changed their offer, but you will still make more as an intern than I do as an EMT lol. What field? Marketing. Minimum here is already near 10 bucks an hour though. Cost of living makes 11 seem like alot less than it sounds. I'd also have no medical benefits which I have where I currently work. I'm thinking about declining the offer and holding out for something better. That type of uncertainty really makes me worried about investing my time in a business like that. Where do you live anyways? Minimum across the river in portland is going up to 14 soon I believe.............. Indiana, min is 7.25, our cost of living is way less here, I have little advice in marketing lol, don't have any experience in it lol. Career move wise though sounds to me like you would be better waiting, unless this is like a highly coveted huge growth potential internship Yea I'm majoring in management information systems. Huge growing market for that kinda stuff. Currently I'd say im still a good year away from being skilled enough to be worth hiring as an intern though. I currently work at a car audio store so I do enjoy where I work.

Considering picking up a couple extra meters and using a smd three meter mount. I'm not all that great at fabricating things on the dash. Does anyone know of a possible way to use a double din dash kit with a single din deck that would look clean with the meters as well? Vehicle is a 1999 Lexus GS300? Any input is appreciated.

In a ported box about 2 cubic feet does anyone know how much clean power an hx2 can handle? They state they only handle 1000 watts rms but I highly doubt that. I understand they come stock with a 4" voice coil. Do older soft parts hold this speaker back from handling more? I've seen plenty of subs with smaller coils handle over 2000 rms easily. Would a t1500 be too much?

Finally putting my alt in after a month of it sitting.... Hoping for a decent increase in sound. Been seeing a drop to around 12.4-12.6 on heavy bass tracks.
