Measuring a good ground

Recommended Posts

So I understand that measuring a good ground is done through resistance. If I was trying to find out if I have a good ground in the trunk of a car where would I put the side of the dmm that isn't on the ground? I've read you measure it vs a good ground (front battery negative) although I don't have any dmm leads that long........ how do people measure a good ground in the trunk of a sedan?
