So I'm looking to see how "Bose, Infinity, ect" edit their amplifers/processors. And it's not just a simple "flash". I know this is a very weird question, but I have my reasons to find out how.

Thanks guys!

There's probably a proprietary connection to the amp or processor that connects to a program within Windoze that was programmed by the same company. I'm thinking it's similar to the way Bosch programs the DMEs for vehicles.

Cables and wires almost never fail; the terminations do.

It's probably a proprietary connector inside the housing that needs a proprietary program to change the settings if its tuneable at all

Even if you where able to change it the man hours (or woman hours) needed would likely make it easier and possibly cheaper (depending on programs and equipment) to go aftermarket

Sorry I can't be more help

EDIT:it also might have a preprogrammed chip built in that may or may not have dip switches for different modes/presets a exact model would help as I'm sure theyvarnt universal
