Its temporary woofers, just sold my sa 15s and took advantage of the black friday sale at car audio bargain and ordered sa 18s.. so i have a whole new box build im going to be working on and just need a temp setup, giving em to my sister for christmas anyways. Think they can take the heat?
Triticum Agricolam Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 I don't know how much power your amp actually puts out, but if it does anywhere near the 3K it claims that would be 1500 watts into sub rated for 500. Doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Now of course you could turn your gain down until your subs only get 750 or so each and you'd probably be fine.
