Help re-using an old subwoofer box

Hey guys, I've been out of the whole "stereo thing" for about 3 seasons. I've got next to nothing of my old gear left, so I'm doing abit of a redneck backyard "piece together"

I'm attaching pictures of my old build. All I have left is the box. I forget what it is tuned too so dont ask! Most likely 38hz. But, I want to install a DD3512 into one of the holes and cover the other hole. I realise this will throw off all the tuning aspects of the box, but will I still be within any sort of specs? I dont have the tools to be building another box, but I need some boom in my truck. I would like to get another dd3512 at some point... just not now. I'll be running the sub with a phoenix gold ti1500.1

If you were to do that, your tuning will stay relatively the same, but your mechanical power handling will go way down due to the box being so big for a single sub. I would strongly suggest you don't do it, unless you don't mind reconing your sub. Also its going to make the output of your box as peaky as hell.
