dbackfan12
Hey guys, so I recently installed my new skar 4500.1 and it is rated for 4900 RMS at one-ohm and suggests a 450 amp fuse. Currently I have the Big 3, 320 amp ho alternator D3400 under the hood XP 3000 and D680 in the back. I was wondering what size fuse I would need to avoid any shorts and unnecessary popping of fuses. Would it be 450 throughout like Skar recommends? I know my alternator is rated for about 190 amps at idle so I thought maybe a 200 amp fuse should work. Any thoughts?
