How Close Can The Ports Be?

in my tahoe, the port's are about 3"-3 1/2" from the back door.....will this effect output ????????

how tall is the enclosure, and whats ur port configuration (aero, square, slot, and width)

the likely cause of doing that is that the enclosure thinks or sees itself having a longer port thus lowering tuning

the enclosure will think the box and rear door are part of the enclosure... but its really vehicle/box specific

so, is this a bad thing ??? box is tuned around 34hz.... can expect more output or less with the ports being 3 1/2" from the door?
