Dmill20 Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 I'm at a struggle, wanting to build a t-line box 36 inch wide 25 inch long and 12 inch in height for two tens port length at 144 inches 6 inches wide 12 heigh Put my number in a calculator and is coming out to 15.5 hz wondering if that's too low to have a good sounding system? First box build..

Triticum Agricolam Posted January 15, 2016 Report Posted January 15, 2016 144" is way too long of a line length, you want to be more like 92", which should tune you to around 34 Hz. With your line area of 72" sq. in. you will get pretty peaky output, if that's not what you want you can reduce the size of the line down to 9.5" x 6". It will help smooth out the frequency response a bit and will save you some space.
