I'm going to be competing Street. Only speaker mod is the tweeters in the pillars. The other speakers (other than the subs) are all factory sizes in factory locations. Also, no mods to the dash.

Today was rough, I had to heat up the electrical tape every time I used it.

The good news, my drink stayed cold. :D

I worked on the car for six or seven hours today and feel like I got very little accomplished.

I color coded all of the speaker wires.

I then wrapped them in techflex and color coded those.

Next I made a box to match the flux capacitor to house the speaker connections and the SMD fan controller.

This picture shows the terminal box, it also shows that I covered the flux capacitor and added acrylic.

Next job was attaching the grounds. This is prior to techflex.

So many wires and so much tech flex...

if you have an issue or need to service something how are you going to remove the fuses?

I'll remove the cover panel and the piece holding the plexiglass. Should take less than a minute.

thats A LOOOONG time if something catches fire....

Fuses are suppose to pop first but that does not always happen and that is your fastest power disconnect point unless you have a breaker or fuse under the hood as well

There will be a fuse under the hood within 18" of the battery.

I have that 3 way set on an MS-8 as well be careful my MS-8 randomly decided to blow up a tweeter you can not get replacements from PPI/Soundstream

but a decent 3 way indeed I had to cross the MID-BASS fairly high they give good midbass but can't take much power before bottoming out unless I crossed them over in 120+ hz range

Have you ever had your woofers blown?
